Put A Motion Sensor in Your Garage

You might think you can sleep well at night because you arm your burglar alarm inside your home each night before you go to sleep. You are absolutely correct about being safe inside your house, but what about your garage? Do you have expensive tools and other items stored in your garage? A bicycle or a motorcycle?

What’s inside the glove box or trunk of your car? What kind of car stereo do you own? Did you leave your keys in your car? All of these items are worth the effort for an intruder to break into your garage to steal.

Many home owners have motion sensor installed in the various rooms in their homes, but don’t think to protect the items inside the garage. It is not exempt. A burglar can break into a garage just as easily, if not more easily than your house. Being security-minded means covering all the possibilities. A motion sensor in your garage will set off an alarm that will send a burglar scurrying for cover. Don’t risk it. Better to be safe than sorry.
