A Mississippi woman had the fright of her life when three young men forced their way into her home with the intention of taking her jewelry. It was not a random act of crime – the suspects had determined she had a collection of valuable and it would be easy to steal since the homeowner is elderly.

The senior citizen was caught off guard when the intruders invaded her home but managed to quickly regain her wits. The thieves did not find the safe full of jewels they expected so attempted to force the woman to take them to an ATM machine and withdraw cash for them.

The woman did her best to avoid antagonizing the men but pretended to have the wrong car keys and could not start the car. When the men noticed a car driving slowly by the house they became uneasy and fled. They were later arrested once their finger prints were discovered to match those on file.
